This water solar pump is designed for fountains, ponds, or other outdoor use & gets power direct from the sun.  This pump is designed with an LED fountain light that automatically illuminates the water spray.
Day mode: Used when sunlight condition is good.  The sunlight runs the pump and saves some of the power in the battery backup for night mode use.  The pump performance in day mode relates to the intensity of sun exposure.
Night/auto mode: Used during overcast condition and night time.  The internal battery max is around 2 hours.

All solar products are not to be used with non-rechargeable batteries. Doing so may cause unrepairable damage to the unit.
